As a baby, Tanvi lost her leg in a traumatic accident. Her family was unable to afford a single prosthetic limb, let alone the follow up care that she would need as she grew.

Tanvi’s father brought her to our program when she was two years old, hopeful that we might be able to help her take her first steps. We provided her with her first prosthetic limb and committed to covering her care as she grew.

For over a decade, we have continued to offer Tanvi the life-changing prosthetic care she needs to keep moving, allowing her to grow and thrive with confidence.

Now a teenager, Tanvi's warmth and joyful spirit light up every room she enters, dressed to impress in clothes made by her father.

With consistently excellent grades in the 90th percentile, Tanvi dreams of making a difference and working for the government.

But from a young age, Tanvi found her passion in dance. Tanvi's story reminds us that mobility is so much more than movement – sometimes, it’s simply about having the freedom to dance to your own beat, creating joy for yourself and others.
