ALTSO utilizes the following strategies to ensure effective and transparent programs with its Program Partners:
CASH GRANTS
Cash grants are disbursed in three (3) installments through the term of the partnership upon the partner’s compliance with reporting requirements.
PATIENT INTAKE FORMS
Patient intake forms are submitted on a monthly basis by each Program Partner for every child who is evaluated and treated. PIFs include patient history, disability, diagnosis, treatment provided, cost of treatment and devices and follow-up requirements. Results are recorded into ALTSO’s patient database and displayed on our IMPACT page.
PATIENT PHOTOGRAPHS
Before-and-After treatment photos are submitted on a monthly basis for every child who is evaluated and treated.
FINANCIAL REPORTS
Quarterly progress and financial reports are cross-checked with ALTSO’s patient database. Trends are analyzed to better understand the need in ALTSO’s program countries.
SITE VISITS
Site visits are conducted annually by ALTSO staff (budget allowing).
ELECTRONIC PATIENT INTAKE FORM
ALTSO’s Excel-based Patient Intake Form was created to consolidate individual patient medical records into a simplistic ‘one-click’ style spreadsheet. This type of recording gives our program partners a wide array of diagnoses and treatment options to choose from in each drop down list, while automatically calculating treatment costs once entered. Drop down lists allow for a ‘one-click’ system of reporting, decreasing the time our partners spend recording data, allowing them to focus more time on transforming lives.
